Leading online gaming company SportPesa has announced a restructured partnership agreement with the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) to support the men’s national rugby 7s team, Shujaa, ahead of their highly anticipated return to the HSBC World Rugby 7s Series.
The restructured sponsorship contract will see Shujaa receive 82.5 million for the next two years from the gaming company as they return to the prestigious stage after an extraordinary year.
This sponsorship deal reaffirms SportPesa’s unwavering commitment to promoting Kenyan sporting talent to the highest level and aims to provide continued support for Shujaa’s journey in the 24/25 campaign which kicks off on November 30, 2024 in Dubai.
