- Following a 1-0 opening round win against Ecuador before a 2-1 loss to Germany, a win against Curacao would see the Elephants through to the round of 32.
Ivory Coast aim to secure a historic place in the knockout stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup when they face Curacao in their final Group match on Thursday.
The Elephants have enjoyed a mixed season so far, opening their tournament with a dramatic win over Ecuador before suffering late heartbreak in a narrow 2-1 defeat to Germany.
Despite the setback, Emerse Fae’s side remain in contention for a place in the Round of 32 and know that a positive result against Curacao will be enough to extend their run at the World Cup.

After experimenting with different tactical setups in the opening two games, Fae looks set to stick with the more balanced 4-3-3 system that almost earned his team a valuable result against Germany.
Yahia Fofana is expected to retain his place in goal after making a number of important saves in the defeat to Germany. The goalkeeper was not at fault for conceding two goals and continued to provide a reassuring presence at the back.
There is expected to be at least one change in defence, with Wilfried Singo unavailable after suffering an injury. Guela Doué is expected to be deployed at right-back, bringing energy and attacking from the wing.
Emmanuel Agbadou is likely to continue playing in the heart of defence, although Evan Ndicka is pushing for a starting role after remaining on the bench in the opening two games. Ghislain Konan must maintain his place at left back.
In midfield, captain Franck Kessié will once again be the heart of the team. The experienced midfielder opened the scoring against Germany and continues to play an important role both in possession and in defensive transitions.
Ibrahima Sangaré was expected to anchor the midfield after impressive displays in a defensive role, where his ball recoveries, interceptions and tackles helped disrupt the rhythm of Germany’s attacks.
Seko Fofana can again add dynamism and ability to carry the ball in the middle of the field.

This attack is the biggest threat to Ivory Coast. Amad Diallo is expected to continue playing on the right wing after earning a starting place against Germany.
The Manchester United forward remains one of the tournament’s most exciting talents and is capable of changing a match with a moment of individual brilliance.
On the opposite flank, Yan Diomande should retain his place after impressing with his running speed, and willingness to take on defenders. His combination with Amad gives the Gajah a dangerous advantage in wide areas and provides constant attacks.

Leading the line is expected to be Evann Guessand, whose movement and defensive play make the Ivorian a focal point in attack. The striker will be tasked with occupying Curacao’s defense while creating space for runners around him.
With qualifying just around the corner, Fae will demand a calm yet aggressive performance from his team. The Elephants have shown throughout the tournament that they have the attacking quality to trouble any opponent, and they hope their star-studded front line can take them to the knockout stages for the first time in their country’s history.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
